Disk Contents
The following AMOS utility programs are installed on this disk
as AMOS Basic source files, and as Workbench 1.3 compiled
programs. To use the source programs you will need a copy of
AMOS1.3x.
U-File.AMOS - A complete re-write of the previously
released FileEd.AMOS program. Many
advanced features have now been
included, making this one of the most
advanced binary file editors
available on the Amiga today.
U-Zone.AMOS - An advanced 'Mouse Zone' creation
program which interprets and compiles
AMOS set zone procedures. Once you
have tried this tool you will never
enter screen co-ordinates by hand
again. This utility has been written
specifically for AMOS programmers.
All of these programs were written on an Amiga A500 with 2 Mb
RAM in AMOS v1.34, and compiled in v1.34, so they should run
without major bugs.
These two AMOS utility programs are the first in a whole series
of 'U-xxx' tools that the author intends to write, to support
AMOS programmers. As the source code has been included there
should be many procedures that new programmers can copy for
inclusion in their own creation. Have fun!
